Davido set to perform at 79th UNGA, Davido performs as Ethiopia celebrates 2017 New Year
Popular Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is set to perform at the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) after a Nigerian billionaire businessman daughter, DJ Cuppy, hosts the opening session.
This marks his debut at the prestigious global forum, where he will perform at an official event.
In an update shared via his X handle on Tuesday, September 24, Davido expressed his excitement, stating, “Touch down New York City for the #UN General Assembly… My first time attending should be interesting. Also performing tonight at one of the events! Catch me if u can!”
Meanwhile, Nigerian DJ and artist Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, known as DJ Cuppy, had earlier hosted an opening session for the ongoing assembly, marking a significant presence of Nigerian stars at this global gathering.
