Nigerian music star, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has announced his relocation to the United States with his family.
The Empire Mates Entertainment boss revealed on Instagram that he will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Banky W shared a photo of himself, his wife, actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington, and their child at the airport, seeking well-wishes from his followers.
The 43-year-old artiste, who has contested for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency in Lagos State, aims to expand his knowledge and expertise in policy management.
In his Instagram caption, Banky W, on Monday, wrote, “For family. For finding purpose.
“For the next year of earning a Master’s degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington DC.
“Wish us well.”
Fans and colleagues have flooded social media with congratulatory messages and well-wishes for the Wellington family.
Banky W was born in the US and returns to his birth country for graduate studies.
