The Dangote Refinery has achieved a significant milestone by producing over 45 million liters of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) daily.

This development marks a major boost to Nigeria’s petroleum industry, enhancing fuel availability and reducing the country’s dependence on imported refined products.

The refinery, which is the largest in Africa and one of the biggest in the world, is expected to contribute significantly to stabilizing fuel prices and ensuring energy security.

Experts believe that increased local production will help curb fuel scarcity, create jobs, and strengthen Nigeria’s economy.

Industry analysts also anticipate that the refinery’s full operation will lead to a reduction in fuel importation costs and improve foreign exchange earnings by reducing the demand for dollars used in importing refined petroleum products.
