The Lagos State Police Command said it had recovered three rifles that were parts of the weapons stolen from its armoury during the #EndSARS protest. The Commissioner of Police, Ishola Olanrewaju, disclosed this while parading the suspects at the state command headquarters on Saturday. Two factory workers, who were rescued after they got trapped while working on a diesel reservoir in the Ikosi area of Lagos State, have been confirmed dead. It was learnt that the workers were rescued by officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, and men of the Lagos State Fire Service. Justice Rahman Oshodi of the Ikeja Special Offences Court has convicted and sentenced a man, Tobi Paul-Augustine, to 18 months imprisonment for impersonating an operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
