Afrobeat star, Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Tife Balogun, has officially released his debut music project titled Champion’s Arrival.

In a video post shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, the 14-year-old announced, “The Champion has arrived. My debut EP ‘Champion’s Arrival’ is out now on all platforms.”

The post has since attracted over 45,000 likes and 4,000 comments, with fans praising his musical debut.

It was earlier reported on October 28 that Tife, the first son of Wizkid and his former partner, Shola Ogudu, teased the project by sharing a short video on Instagram with the caption: “Champion’s Arrival. Videographer: DIKASTUDIOS. Producer: iamhosana_.”

In the teaser, the young artiste delivered lines that many described as confident and daring, saying, “Shoutout to the OGs in the game, but it’s time to pass on the baton,” and “I’ve got zero competition.”

Tife’s mother, Shola, also expressed pride in her son’s accomplishment, commenting, “Super proud of you SON!!!! We give God all the glory,” and linking the EP in her Instagram bio.

The five-track project — Champion Montana, Grind, Superstar, Champion Sound, and Champion — is available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Audiomack, YouTube Music, Apple Music, and Deezer.

Reactions have continued to pour in across social media platforms.

One fan, @iamsanchez005, expressed surprise at the young artist’s talent, writing, “Abi nah Wizkid write this song… too mature for Bolu nah. Omo see music. There’s no way this boy, 14, that song Grind is crazy.”

The release of Champion’s Arrival marks Boluwatife’s official debut in the music industry, drawing attention from fans and observers alike.
