Sales and Marketing Manager, Health Garde Nigeria, Amaka Ikedife, has stated that the array of health products from the stable of Health Garde International are produced not only to treat those that are sick but also to cater for those who do not want to fall sick.
Health Guard International parading varieties of drugs is a one-stop-shop to get medical answers to all manners of health challenges. With products ranging from 40 Plus for men and women, Clamag Plus, Kid Garde, Omega Plus, Eye Garde, Memory Garde and Marina Spa among others patients need not search further.
Health Garde International, a company founded by a Nigerian, Mrs Nneka Nwarueze, as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO and Mrs Lovelyn Bassey Chief Operating Officer, has all its products made in Africa with the use of African roots and herbs in addressing different challenges in the body.
Amaka said the drugs are made for everybody, “It is not just for those that are sick it also for those that don’t want to be sick. We have products that help to build up the immune system, we have the ones that help to detoxify the system, we have the ones that help to regulate your blood sugar, regulate your blood pressure, and we have the ones that help to regulate your cholesterol level. We have different types.”
The Sales and Marketing Manager added that “You know Lagos is a stressful city. In fact with what we are going through in Nigeria right now a lot of people are stressed. And we have a product that is called Stress Guard that helps to regulate your stress level so that it does not cause any form of harm to your system. One of the leading causes of high blood pressure is tress.
“Then we have the one called 40 Plus for men, it takes care of men’s prostate health. The prostate is what makes a man, when the prostate is gone a man is no longer a man. So, we have a product called 40 Plus for men, which helps to regulate the prostate in all man. It contains an important root called saw palmeto, it contains the important ingredients that help men.
“We have the one for women that are going through menopausal issues to help regulate menstrual issues that are no longer regular. It makes them look healthy and even make them look younger. We have so many other products that are made to help a lot of people,” she said.

On whether the health firm does not have prenatal and postnatal care on its medical radar, Amaka said “Of course we have products that takes care of the prenatal and postnatal health of mothers. Presently a 54 years old woman is pregnant just by using our product. When a woman comes and said she is pregnant we have a prenatal product called Omega Plus and others, the woman does not need to use the routine products from the hospital. She does not need pregnacare, she just need these three products Pro B, Omega Plus and Calmeeze.
